What data we collect and why

This website collects personal data only when you provide it voluntarily, in the following cases.

Contact form. When you write to us through the contact form, we collect the data you enter (name, email, company if provided, subject and message). We use it solely to respond to your request. The legal basis is responding to your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Newsletter. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address to send you updates, reflections and content. Emails are sent only with your explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every email.

Browsing data and statistics. The website uses traffic-analysis tools that collect aggregated, statistical data (pages visited, source, device). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website, or your consent where required for cookies.

Third-party tools and providers

To provide these services we rely on third-party providers who process data on our behalf, as data processors:

  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) — newsletter management and email sending. Data is stored within the European Union.
  • Web3Forms — delivery of messages sent through the contact form.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — aggregated traffic statistics. This service may involve the transfer of data to third countries, carried out in compliance with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
  • Hostinger — website hosting and infrastructure.

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for the marketing purposes of parties other than the controller.

Data retention

We keep data for as long as necessary for the purposes described: contact-form messages for the time needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship; newsletter data until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Your rights

At any time you can exercise the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict or object to processing, and request portability. You can also withdraw your newsletter consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to federica@federicabartolini.com.
